EXTRAJUDICIAL EXECUTION AND ENFORCED DISAPPEARANCE
Every Kenyan have right to Live.Where  is ordinary citizen supposed to  look for protection  if the government which is supposed to provide security to  its citizen is  killing its own citizen on unknown circumstance through unknown  police squids ? 2007-2009 witnessed the disappearance of many youth who were suspected to be followers of unregistered groups like Mungiki. Most of this youth were found in mortuary and in forests after dying in unclear circumstances. The youths were accused of extorting money from matatu crews and landlords  in exchange of protection. This came after the then minister of internal security said; You will be hearing the burial if so and so is today.Any Kenyan who is suspected to be involved in any crime is supposed to be subjected to the rule of law.The court of law is supposed to determine whether the victim is guilty of the offence or not.The police denied any involvement in extrajudicial killing although all evidence fall squarely on them. The human right group tried to  put the pressure on the government to stop the killings. Some of the human right activists were also killed in unclear circumstances  like Mr kingara of Oscar foundation.A UN special rapporteur was sent to investigate the extrajudicial killing in Kenya. In his report Prof Aston noted there was extrajudicial killing by the police  and called for the removal of the  police commissioner and the Attorney General singling them as the direct responsible for the current state of affairs. The then police commissioner was transferred to another department but the Attorney General remained. The fundamentals which the government should address among the youths is unemployment .The youths are attracted to join the gang groups like mungiki and Al shalbu since they have nothing to do thus they lack sense of responsibility. To the government killing the youths is not the solution.

INJUSTICES IN THE ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES

In the past regimes, ie Kenyatta  and Moi regime, allocation of the country resources was the prerogative of the president. The resources were  allocated according to how a certain tribe voted for  the president  during the general election or how the the administration of the day wound wish the respective tribe to vote for him in the coming elections. The resources were  allocated according to session paper number  ten whereby the resources where allocated according  to   productivity of an area  whereby  the unproductive areas  got less or no resources. This is injustices since those areas were  contributors of the national cake and are thus justified to get equal share of the national cake.In the past resources where allocated in public balazas,in campaign rallies all  for political purposes. Thus central Kenya, rift valley ,Nairobi ended up being developed ,leaving areas like North  Eastern undeveloped.During campaign rallies the president could promise roads  and electricity to a given area and the moment his candidate losses the promises are withdrawn. An example is Kipipiri constituency where the constituents where promised electricity.  The electricity post were taken to the area during the campaign time. After losing the election ,the electricity posts where removed from the area. What can u call this ? Thus the people were forced to show support to the sitting president in order for their areas to receive development .The citizen of the country have freedom of choice without discrimination. This lead for agitation for  a new constitution  which could limit the power of the executive in the allocation of resources which become a reality last year.

Economic Injustices

Historical Land Injustices.
The issue of land is among the injustices Kenya is experiencing up to date. After the colonialist arrived in Kenya they displaced the  people from the fertile land to reserves which were unproductive for farming .The colonialist forced Kenyans  to provide free labour on their farms. This led to uprising among Kenyans. The major issue among Kenyans against the colonial government was land since no Kenyan was allowed to own land. After independence the land that was  taken from Kenyans was supposed to revert back to Kenyan people but this did not happen. The elites or home guards as they were usually called got almost all the land after independence. The Kenyatta administration benefited from lands which where left back by the colonialist who where not willing to settle in Kenya. Instead of the government of the day to give the Kenya people their lands which they fought hard  to regain from the colonialist, they were asked to buy them back. Most of them were maumau fighters who had  come from the forest thus they had  no money to buy land. Thus they were forced to be squatters in the own country. The home guards ,chiefs and their families got big pieces of land while the rest of the Kenyans got small pieces.
